2016 Election Day

1, Introduction    

   As an annual activity of HUMG SPE Student Chapter, election day is held to bring out new committees of each SPE Student Chapter every year - which have been choosen by voting from SPE members and Faculty Advisor. Besides, this is also an opportunity for SPE HUMG Student Chapter to review what we have done last year and show up many new interesting things in 2016.

     With that orientation, on April 4th, 2016, SPE HUMG organized Election Day event to find out new executive board members for the term of 2016-2017. Event was successful held by 2015 executive board members, 2016 candidates, Faculty Advisor as well as members of HUMG SPE Student Chapter.

As the distribution, voting committee kept working on collecting and counting votes from members. After a few minutes, the result was announced by Ms. Trieu Viet Anh. Specifically, new executive board members of HUMG SPE SC 2016-2017 are:

1. Mr. Ngo Cong Tuan Anh: voting rate 27/30 _ (President)

2. Ms. Tran Ngoc Diep: voting rate 26/30 _ (Vice-president)

3. Ms. Vu Thanh Huong: voting rate 26/30 _ (Secretary)

4. Pham Minh Tuan: voting rate 17/30 _ (Treasurer

     Finally, we are honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung – Faculty Advisor to have a speech at the end of election. Mr.Dung congratulated new board members and had a small talk about the diffuculties, challenges and opportunities as a HUMG SPE member

     On behalf of HUMG SPE Student Chapter, we would like to give our special thanks to Mr.Nguyen Anh Dung and all members took part in election day with us and helped us find out new board members. We also thanks for all members of HUMG SPE, who always support, cooperate and contribute for the development of our socity Society of Petroleum Engineers at HUMG.
